Boots, Boots, Boots

Why hello there!  Okay, I know I went off the grid during the holiday's, but honestly, everyone should!  Now, I'm back to reality and working hard to bring some awesome topics to the blog (possibly some YouTube videos, too!)

Now, to get back into the swing of things, I decided to give you a little taste of my boot/bootie collection.  Some items are from last year, but I will link anything that doesn't exist anymore to very similar items if you are in need of an amazing, well made, great quality type of boot!

If you aren't aware, I was born with a clubbed foot, so it is very hard for me to find a great pair of shoes (any style) without having problems if they are not comfortable and support my weaker foot.  When Mr. Man introduced me to Clarks and B.O.C. brands, I first laughed at him and told him I am no grandma!  Well, wrong I was, considering I own 5 pairs of those brands… AND THEY ARE CUTE!

This boot is probably one of my favorite every day fall/winter boot.  Considering, I have a brown pair and a black pair.  These were purchased last year at Belk during a BOGO sale.  Trust me, I never pay full price for a pair of boots, well anything!  This brand is very comfortable, it favors like Clarks brand, so if you want comfy and a long lasting boot, these are your new best friends.  Quality is wonderful, since it is a pricier pair of shoes, it's made well and lasts a while!  I have barely made a dent in these, and I wear them constantly during these colder months.

B.O.C. Spanya Boot

This boot has such a special place in my heart.  Found these at Belk (Normally get almost all shoes from there) and I backed away because at the time they were not on sale.  It was around Christmas last year and Mr. Man surprised me with them and I freaked out.  It's very hard for me to find a pair of heels due to weaker foot (Mr. Gimp).  Not only are they super comfortable and and cute, they have held up very well!  And I wear the poo out of these puppies!  The back zipper just gives them that special something to help them stand out =)

Clarks Boylan Dawn Bootie

Color: Taupe Sued

Price: $150.00 (on sale for $99!)

Who doesn't love a simple bootie?  Want actual comfort, too?  These are your babes right here!  Found these at Elder Beerman for a super cheap price, and just couldn't believe it.  Clarks shoes are very expensive in my opinion.  But, you pair for what you get!  These go with just about anything I have paired them up with and get nothing but compliments on them.  They come in a few other colors, which is nice to have a variety if this isn't the color you are looking for.  For me, I have too much black and needed something more in this color family.

Boot #4:

Clarks Enfield Ellen Bootie

Size: 8

Color: Black Leather

Price: $160 (on sale for $99!)

This boot is PERFECT with some ankle skinnies, a sweater, and scarf.  These are probably my most comfortable bootie I own.  With the stylish zipper pieces, it just brings the whole shoe together.  I wore these on Black Friday for over 12 hours and I have NO PROBLEMS.  Reminder, I can never wear heels because of Mr. Gimp, so the fact that I wore these for a long period of time during BLACK FRIDAY, tells you something!

Tommy Hilfiger Bootie w/ gold buckle & zipper

Color: Black

Found these at Belk at the end of season sale.  We ended up getting them for no more than $15!  This was a great find for this brand.  They are super comfortable and are more so worn for work and/or dressier evenings.  The gold accents just really make a plain boot go for miles!

New Years Eve Looks

Are you like me and you wait until the last minute to put an outfit together and/or you look in your closet and wonder when you'll ever wear a certain item?  

Well my loves, I'm super excited to show you what I have put together for ya'll!  In today's post, I have put together 3 outfit looks for your next New Years Eve party.  Whether you have some of these pieces in your collection already, or need last minute ideas, I got you boo!  

Us gals always want to look absolutely amazing on New Years, right?  So, normally we either have some money we got from Christmas, or we save a little to splurge on a fun night out.  I'm not saying these outfits are an arm and leg price wise, but they aren't dirt cheap either.  In fact, I put these outfits in the middle and each item within the three looks are under $45!

Look #1

You can never go wrong with a little black dress, silver, and red!  This first look that was created, is simple and elegant for a night out.  Wear your hair in an up-do and add a cat eye to your makeup, and you will be the talk of the night!

Look #2

This look is for all my girls that want to step a little out of their comfort zone, and into their wild side without looking not yourself.  Have some fun curly or wavy hair with this look and deepen up your eye look a bit, and you will definitely be turning heads at the bar.

Look #3

If you know me, this look is up my ally, it's not even funny.  That's why I saved it for last!  Such a fun look, that is very different from your typical dresses and skirts looks.  This palazzo pant paired with this fun and flirty top is such a cute combo!  Adding a fedora will just give this look a little more character and pizazz; which is what you want for a New Years Eve part!  Leave your hair down with some Victoria Secret curls and have the time of your life!

Baby, All I Want For Christmas

What's on your Christmas List this year?

Just a few little things I have either wanted over the past few years, or a few things I have been dreaming of for the past few months, and/or I already own, and I want more colors of (Coach pumps).

But, the one thing I am most excited about is the fact that I get to go home for Christmas!  I haven't been home for two years and it has been so hard for me!  Now, this year I get to finally enjoy my family's Annual Christmas Eve Breakfast, Christmas Day, and family and friends.  Coming from a family where you have 3 siblings and two parents; it's hectic, wild, and obnoxious!  And, ya know what, I love every second of it!  So, though I really want these things under the tree this year, at the end of the day, I know I'll be so blessed to just be with my family. 

 So, I give you this food for thought. Enjoy the time you have with your loved ones. Surround yourself with them.  It's not just about what is given to us or what we give to others. It's about the birth of Jesus Christ, his journey, and his life he gave up for every one of us. Surround yourself with love and cheer and be grateful for that love. 

Isaiah 9:6 For us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Simple Holiday Looks: 101

Did you just realize that tomorrow is Thanksgiving?  And that Christmas and holiday parties are just around the corner?  Are you freaking out a little bit?

Oh, don't you worry my dear, I am here to shed a little light on some easy, comfortable and absolutely adorable outfits that will get you by during this Thanksgiving, or just through these holiday months.  

These three outfits are so easy and very comfortable on those days where you are just legit gorging out on some delicious food; but you don't want to look like a bum either.  Not to mention, these don't even need to be worn during just Thanksgiving dinner, these looks are great for any day during these colder months.  A lot of this you can find in your closet; it doesn't have to be this exact outfit, unless you're a shopaholic like I am.  We are all about some comfort and cuteness here at the Just a little Grace HQ.

LOOK 1:

This look is a very simple and casual, yet still adorable for this Thanksgiving's festivities.  If you're wanting to be very comfortable, and have a little style to your look, this is perfect for that.  

 LOOK 2:

This second look is just a step up from the first look provided.  A simple jean with an oversized sweater always hides those blown out tummies after stuffing your face all day.  Add some boots and cute accessories, and you will be the cutest one there!  

LOOK 3:

This is probably my favorite look, because those flares SCREAM my name!  When I put this little look together, I was almost tempted to just buy the whole thing.  This look is a little more on your less casual side.  This would be for a nice evening out with your high school friends where you'll have a night on the town.  

A simple flare bottom with a poncho and cute hat; you can never go wrong with this look.  This look is very popular right now and with the right accessories, people will be turning heads WANTING your outfit.  

I want to give a huge Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!  I have been very blesses this year and I am thankful for everything that has been placed in my lap; good and bad.  It's the time to be surrounded by those who love you and comfort you.

Scarves, Sweaters, and Booties; Oh My!

I am one to get really excited about my casual days for work.  I take advantage that's for sure!  Especially since these cooler months are in full effect, I like to be comfy and cozy, yet still show my fashionista side.

This look is what I am currently wearing on this glorious Friday morning here in Morgantown.  Not to mention, family is coming to visit and of course I have to look a little prettier than just some old sweats, right?

Thanks to Shelbey from Love, Shelbey for literally making me want to buy this scarf from Old Navy, I actually ended up with two!  

My Look:

Black Sweater: The one I'm currently wearing is an oldie, but a goody from New York & Company back when I worked there; so it doesn't exist anymore.  But, I have given you options!  Any loose sweater works great with this look!  

Grey Jeans:  These are some very comfy jeans.  Any grey jean will do.  I like a good comfy jean with a good amount of spandex in them when I'm sitting a lot at work.  If you're looking for a good pair, check out Old Navy

Booties:  Whoever said Clarks didn't make super cute shoes; you are wrong my friend!  Found these beauties at Elder-Beerman and got them for a super affordable deal (originally $160 and I got them for half that price)!  Clarks "Enifield Ellen" Casual Boots are probably the most comfortable booties I own.  I try to look for comfort when I'm shopping for shoes; as you all might or might not know, I was born with a clubbed foot, so sometimes my ankle/foot like to act up on me.  If I find a heel that's comfortable, I buy every color ;-) That's not a problem, right?

Scarf:  I'm going to say it again, Shelbey does not do a girl wrong when it comes to accessories.  I have always loved scarves - I won't tell you how many I own.  I had been looking for some nice oversized blanket scarves for a while, but just didn't want to pay $30 dang bucks for it!  I'm sorry, that's a little pricey in my opinion.  Then here comes Shelbey to my rescue AGAIN!  This Old Navy oversized flannel scarf might be my new obsession.  Not only was it on sale in the store, I also had $15.00 in Old Navy money.  Let's just say I got two for not even the price of one.  If you're searching for any blanket scarves, but don't want to pay a whole lot of money for them; check out Old Navy - they are always having amazing deals and coupons you can't beat!
